Whether it’s an old, comfy sweater or a perfectly broken-in pair of running shoes, everyone has a reliable go-to, including the creative professionals at Majority Strategies.

The search for inspiration often takes our graphic designers to their go-to sources for stock photography and typography.

Looking for Inspiration?

Majority Strategies’ graphic designers head to design showcases like Dribbble and Behance to stay current on the latest design trends and the work of their peers in the advertising business.

“Dribbble and Behance are both a huge database of current designs that you can search by project, color and theme.”

Need a New Font?

Fonts and typography play a big role in the effectiveness of voter contact mail and mobile advertising. The search for the perfect font can take our graphic designers to websites like DaFont and Font Squirrel.

“Hoefler & Co have a great interactive page displaying multiple applications of their typefaces. That’s a great way to easily visualize what a font will look like in a piece of direct mail or a mobile ad.”

Want the Perfect Stock Shot?

There are a wealth of free and for-purchase stock photography sites with a varying degree of quality, depth and cost. Some of our graphic designers’ favorites include Morguefile, iStock, Dreamstime and Fotolia.

After 18 years in business, Majority Strategies has used many stock photography sources, but we also turn to our in-house photography studio to ensure we capture the right image for our direct mail and mobile advertising.

“Morguefile has become a personal favorite, but I always look at a number of stock websites to guarantee I’m using the best image for the piece. That’s the great thing about being able to take our own photos, too. We can always create what we need.”
