Web Developer Joseph Richey has been all over the world, from the Philippines to Japan and the Middle East. Today Joseph calls Jacksonville, Florida, home, where you can find him working on his Yamaha R6, playing with his golden retriever, planning his next trip to Asia, or building websites as a part of the Majority Strategies team.
Let’s get to know Joseph in today’s #MeetMajority.
What is the toughest lesson you’ve learned?
Don’t try to go off road on a sport bike.
What app can’t you live without?
Reddit because it’s fun to read what people from around the world talk about.
Where do you get your news?
Reuters and BBC since they’re usually comprehensive and unbiased about current events.
What’s your favorite song? And what do you do when it comes on in the car?
The Killers – Mr. Brightside. I have to put it on full blast and sing along to it – badly.
Do you consider yourself to have good luck, bad luck or no luck?
Good luck, because traffic’s been great lately.
What’s on your bucket list?
I’d like to visit Japan again. I spent some time there when I was little, and I definitely want to go back.
What would you most like to learn how to do?
Speak Japanese so I can watch the Japanese Dragon Ball Z without subtitles.
If you could travel back to any time period, which would you choose? Why?
2000s so I can listen to alternative rock without being looked at funny and being called old by teenagers.
Thanks, Joseph!
