In his first cycle with Majority Strategies, Josh Kivett worked with campaigns and clients in 24 states, including Governor Kevin Stitt (OK), Governor Kay Ivey (OK), Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell, Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan (GA) and Congressman Dan Crenshaw (TX-02). He also served as Majority Strategies' point of contact with the Republican National Committee (RNC), advising on the turnout efforts in seven target states, including the U.S. Senate wins in Missouri and Tennessee, as well as the winning special election efforts in MT-AL, GA-06 and OH-12.
A seasoned political strategist with over 15 years of experience in campaign management and public affairs, Josh has managed or consulted on campaigns at every level, including multiple U.S. Senate, statewide and congressional campaigns, as well as independent expenditure and issue advocacy campaigns.
Before joining the Majority Strategies team, Josh served as the Southern Regional Political Director for the RNC, worked closely with the 2016 Trump campaign, overseeing the RNC’s efforts in a 12-state region that included the target presidential states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. During the 2014 cycle, Kivett ran the RNC’s political, grassroots and voter contact operations in the target Senate states of North Carolina, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Kentucky, as well as that cycle’s top gubernatorial target state, Florida.
A Georgia native and proud graduate of the University of Georgia, Josh and his wife, Brooke, and their daughter, Caroline, split their time between Nichols Hills, OK, and St Simons Island, GA.
