Kim Koenig, an avid photographer and painter, truly views the world – and her work – through an artist’s eyes.
Armed with a degree in Fine Arts and a focus on Graphic Design and Digital Media from the University of North Florida, Kim joined the Majority Strategies team six years ago. Kim has put her creative stamp on countless print and digital projects through the years.
In today’s #MeetMajority, we’ll find out more about senior graphic designer Kim Koenig.
What is your favorite medium?
As much as I love photography, painting with acrylics and spray paints (mixed media) is probably my favorite right now. It just takes more free time than photography.
When are you most productive?
Sunrise. I usually go to Pure Barre at 6am and then tackle everything else I need to do before heading to work.
What’s the last book you read?
Scary Close by Donald Miller. I’m currently reading Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist.
Describe your greatest accomplishment.
I bought a condo and renovated it. I’m really proud of how beautifully it turned out.
What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
I love that Jacksonville has so many different sides of town. If you want to enjoy the beach, you can. If you want a more urban feel, you can walk around 5 Points in Riverside. There are so many areas to explore and there’s no shortage of great restaurants and breweries.
When are you happiest?
I’m most content at the beach or near the water.
What’s on your bucket list?
I’d love to see Jack Johnson perform in Hawaii. That definitely tops the list.
Thanks, Kim.
