Michael Bir joined Majority Strategies in October of 2015. Since joining Majority Strategies, Bir has helped over 250 candidates win their elections for office and countless advocacy organizations achieve their goals. Bir has worked with a variety of clients including candidates for governor, Congress, state legislative seats, county-wide positions, and city-wide positions, to name a few.
On the advocacy side, Bir has experience in a wide range of industries, including: agriculture, telecommunications, manufacturing, education, energy, healthcare and gaming. Across all these industries, Bir has been influential in helping clients develop a comprehensive advocacy campaign to ensure the client’s message was delivered in an effective – and successful – manner.
Prior to joining Majority Strategies, Bir spent over a decade working with political organizations across the country, including the Republican National Committee, Ohio Republican Party and Michigan Republican Party. In 2004, Bir graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Political Management.
Bir is an Ohio native who today, with his wife, Emily, and their four-legged animals, lives in Grand Haven, Michigan.
