Justin Ready brings diverse, broad-based experience to the Majority Strategies team as a State Strategist. Ready has a passion for public policy and positioning and equipping candidates, organizations and businesses to succeed in difficult political environments.
Before representing District 5 in the Maryland State Senate, Justin worked in both small business and the public sector, including serving for one term in the Maryland House of Delegates before moving to the Senate. Justin has twice served as Executive Director of the Maryland Republican Party and re-established the party’s candidate and activist training program.
Having previously chaired the Maryland House GOP Caucus 2014 effort that resulted in Republicans reaching their all-time high of 50 delegates, Ready helped spearhead the Maryland Senate Republican Caucus effort in 2018. The Maryland Senate GOP was one of only four Republican caucuses in the country to gain seats in the 2018 cycle.
Ready and Majority Strategies had the only two Republican state legislative pickups in Maryland and, in Delaware, helped hold the State Senate seat Republicans picked up in the 2014 cycle. In addition, Justin was re-elected in MD District 5 with 72% of the vote.
Today Justin lives in Manchester, MD, with his wife, Ruth, and their daughter, Brooklyn, and son, Caleb.
