Since joining Majority Strategies as Senior National Strategist in 2017, Josh Kivett has worked with campaigns and clients in over 30 states. He currently serves as Majority Strategies’ point of contact with the Republican National Committee (RNC), Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA), and Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC). He also served as North Carolina Senior Advisor for the Trump campaign, overseeing President Trump’s 2020 win in the Old North State.

A seasoned political strategist with two decades of experience in campaign management and public affairs, Josh has managed or consulted on campaigns at every level, including dozens of U.S. Senate, statewide and congressional campaigns, as well as independent expenditure and issue advocacy campaigns. He also is a frequent contributor to the RNC’s Campaign Management College, NRCC Digital & Data Boot Camp Program and The Institute for the Public Trust.

Before joining the Majority Strategies team, Josh served as the Southern Regional Political Director for the RNC and worked closely with the 2016 Trump campaign, overseeing the RNC’s efforts in a 12-state region that included the target presidential states of Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. During the 2014 cycle, Kivett ran the RNC’s political, grassroots and voter contact operations in the target Senate states of North Carolina, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Kentucky, as well as that cycle’s top gubernatorial target state, Florida.

A Georgia native and proud graduate of the University of Georgia, Josh and his wife, Brooke, and their daughter, Caroline, split their time between Nichols Hills, OK, and St Simons Island, GA.
