The creative team at Majority Strategies understands the first step in the process of creating powerful voter contact mail and mobile advertising campaigns is often the most difficult.
We’ve talked about The Blank Screen.
Our team’s job is to transform that blank screen into a memorable impression in the minds of your targeted voters.
This is no small task.
In today’s #AskaDesigner, we asked the Majority Strategies’ team of graphic designers, “How do you start a project? What is your source of inspiration?”
“I most often start by doing research. I think, ‘How can I make this piece tell a story?’ My goal is always to make it memorable.”
Candidate and stock photography is often the source of initial inspiration – and we already know good photography makes great mail.
“I reference a client’s favorite pieces to get a feel for their style, and I focus on tailoring the design to compliment their photos and keeping the story personal.”
Certainly we are limited by the physical boundaries of the mail piece or the screen size of a mobile device – but there are no limits to our creativity.
Although each of our designers takes a slightly different approach to starting a project, they all agreed:
“Whether it’s voter contact mail or mobile advertising, the words and images need to work together to deliver the message from start to finish.”
Our designers are keyed in to the latest and greatest tips, tricks and trends thanks to Pinterest and popular design blogs. We stay current, but make no mistake.
No one does it quite like Majority Strategies.
