In this edition of #MeetMajority, we get to know Graphic Designer Shannon Butler. Shannon has traveled a lot in her life and wants to keep going until she’s visited all the major countries.

Let’s meet Shannon Butler.

What’s your favorite time of day? When are you most productive?
I’m not a morning person at all, so I’m most productive in the evening/night time. That’s usually the time when I’m fully awake and most relaxed, which means my creativity is at it’s peak.

How many cities have you lived in?
I have lived in 5 different cities: Virginia Beach, VA, Chesapeake, VA, Memphis, TN, Dededo, Guam, and Jacksonville, FL.

Do you consider yourself to have good luck, bad luck or no luck?
I don’t really believe in luck, I feel that everything I have was meant for me or was something I worked for. Everyone has phases of good and bad things that happen to them, but it’s all about how you look at your situation. I choose to look for the good in every situation or find out how I can turn it around into something good.

What’s on your bucket list?
My bucket list includes: traveling to all of the major countries around the world, learning another language fluently, acting in a major TV show or movie, and becoming a multi-millionaire.

If you could travel back to any time period, which would you choose? Why
Definitely the 90’s. I think the 90’s was the best time period because things were so simple, yet so interesting. The music was great, people were social in person, the style was cool, the TV shows were so good and the best thing of all: it’s the decade I was born in!

What motivates you to tackle the day?
I’m motivated by knowing I have a goal to accomplish that will in turn help other people. I’m constantly setting goals for myself to get better and achieve more.

Thanks, Shannon!
