Chris Kelly recently joined the Majority Strategies team as Director of Digital Operations.
A graduate of Florida Atlantic University and native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Chris previously worked as the Digital Marketing Manager for Group III International, a licensee of SWISSGEAR and WENGER travel products.
Let’s get to know Chris in today’s #MeetMajority.
Where are you from originally, Chris?
I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, about a mile from the beach.
Tell us about your family.
My husband, Sean, and I met while working for Walt Disney World. I was his trainer. We have 4 “fur-kids”: Riley (basset/beagle), Bailey (basset/bloodhound), and twin bloodhound puppies, Penny & Gus.
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in political science and sociology.
Who is your favorite president?
Theodore Roosevelt … the US Forest Service, protecting habitats, creating species-specific preserves … I am an animal/nature lover.
Tell us about your favorite vacation.
Girls trip to Europe and Great Britain with my mom and sister. We traveled for 3 weeks to 8 countries.
What is your favorite ad of all time?
There are a few I absolutely love. First, the Samsung Ostrich commercial (such a great message at the end … love that!), the VW Darth Vader commercial, and the Reese’s Easter Bunny / Peanut Butter jar commercial.
Most memorable live event you attended?
Florida Panthers vs Washington Capitals hockey game. The game was tied and went into overtime. Overtime went 20 rounds and over 40 shots on goal before the Panthers triumphed. The game made the Guinness World Record for the longest overtime.
Favorite meal on the road?
Nothing super fancy. I love El Pollo Loco when I am in Southern California and Iguana Mia in Bonita Springs, Florida. I love Mexican food!
