Anastasia Kourtis was born and raised in Athens, Greece. Anastasia left her home country to attend Boston University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in May 2018.

Before moving to Jacksonville, Florida, to join the Majority Strategies team as a Strategy Director, Anastasia interned with the Massachusetts Republican Party and Governor Baker’s re-election campaign.

When Anastasia is not working, she can be found poolside, soaking up the Florida sun or spending time with her dogs, Jasper and Charlie.

Let’s get to know Anastasia in today’s #MeetMajority.

Why Majority Strategies?
I chose Majority Strategies because it’s the best political consulting firm in the country. I want to make sure the GOP maintains and even expands its majorities up and down the ballot – a goal that motivates me to tackle the day.

What do you do when you are not at work?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy eating at different restaurants, working out and watching reality TV. My favorite show is Botched on E! Entertainment.

What’s on your bucket list?
I’m fluent in English, Greek, and French. However, I would love to pick up another language, preferably Hebrew.

What’s the toughest lesson you’ve learned?
Never take anything for granted.

Favorite eats from back home?
Greek yogurt.

How would your best friend describe you in three words?
Driven and persistent, but also caring.

Last book you read?
Give Us Liberty, by Dick Armey and Matt Kibbe.

Describe your greatest accomplishment.
Getting a job shortly after graduation.

When and where are you happiest?
Anywhere with my dogs Jasper and Charlie.

Thanks, Anastasia!
