Learn more about Brian in today’s #MeetMajority.
What was your best day on the campaign trail?
Election Night. I have been a part of a few amazing campaigns where we pulled off a win when no one thought it was possible. It is such an amazing feeling to see your hard work come to fruition. Specifically, Election Night 2016, watching the national media try to spin Florida by not calling it, even when we had the votes, was amazing to experience from the inside of the war room.
Name one of your “weird” hobbies or habits.
My collection of lanyards from events I have gone to ... I literally keep all of them, even if the event wasn’t that memorable.
Why Majority Strategies?
Majority Strategies has always been known to me as the gold standard in politics, working with some of the most competitive organizations in the country. Plus, it is a great team and a great place to grow yourself.
What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
Mountains to the north, beach to the south/southeast/southwest, and a lot of good old country living in between. We have it all here in Atlanta, including some of the best food in the country.
Favorite song? And what do you do when it comes on in the car?
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers I Won’t Back Down. And yes, I sing it out loud obnoxiously.
What motivates you to tackle the day?
I am very competitive by nature, so making sure each day I am positioning my teams to be successful lets me know we are building to the big “W” on Election Night.
Tell us about your family.
My girlfriend’s and my life is dominated by our dog, Sage. A German shorthaired pointer lab mix, he loves hunting squirrels and all manner of birds and can never sit still. Also, I enjoy heading up to North Georgia to visit my sister, brother-in-law and my wonderful niece.
