Director of Analytics & Audience Insights Ashley O’Rourke recently appeared alongside the Farm Credit Council at EMERGENT 2019 to present on the Farm Credit Council’s case study on a data-driven advocacy strategy that led to record engagement rates around the 2018 Farm Bill debate. Below is Ashley’s summary of the panel:
“Majority Strategies was thrilled to present alongside our client, Farm Credit Council, at the recent Emergent Conference in Washington, D.C., sponsored by Association Trends.
“Farm Credit Council and Majority Strategies were honored to present a case study on how the FCC’s now two-year investment in a data-driven digital advocacy strategy led to record engagement rates around the 2018 Farm Bill debate.
“It was wonderful to present alongside such a great client like Farm Credit Council. From the start, FCC was committed to the three key elements of influence marketing: awareness, persuasion, and activation.
“By continuously promoting FCC’s mission through compelling content to key target audiences during the awareness phase, they were able to grow their online following by nearly 500%. It was this growth that powered the retargeting efforts to specifically engage and activate these online allies to voice their support for the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill.
“Seeing record performance and engagement around the Farm Bill Debate in 2018 would not have been possible without Farm Credit’s long-term investment in promoting brand awareness through an omni-channel digital strategy. This long-term strategy is an excellent example that associations, non-profits and advocacy groups large and small can replicate.”
