Unemployment and rising inflation are top of mind for U.S. voters.
The economic uncertainty ahead of the 2022 midterms ensures jobs and the economy will be a top issue motivating voters.
In this #StrategySession, the Majority Strategies data team shines a light on the customized audiences that can be created to target specific voters or constituents on economic issues.
These audiences include Independent and Lean Democrat voters who are anxious about the economy and disapprove of President Biden who could be persuaded by Republican messaging.
These audiences also include mid- or low-propensity Republicans who are fiscal conservatives and could be driven to turn out with an economic message.
The potential data points used to create these audiences can include:
- Tax cuts, support or oppose;
- Economic anxiety, worried or not worried;
